Sorry for the lack of posting, school has not been giving my ass a break but it should be ending in the near future.
So today I’ve got something a little different in the world of riffage. Broncho play garage punk in the style of it’s glory days during the ’70’s and ’80’s. The music is full of the energy, aggression and DIY style that defined that era of punk. Short, catchy songs with minimalist riffing and all of it coated in just the right amount of distortion and fuzz. Seriously, if this was coming off a vinyl you would be hard pressed to tell what era this was made in.
It’s simple music that is more a display of good songwriting than musical prowess. It’s more subtle than your traditional punk styled hammer to the face which is a large part of its charm. The album is currently available on iTunes as well as the bands website. I’ve got the Bandcamp stream below so give it a listen and see what you think.
